United Nations Working in Lao PDR

The United Nations in the Lao PDR publishes a quarterly newsletter highlighting the work of selected agencies and programmes in the Lao PDR.

Joint UN Sustainable Livelihoods Programme

The Joint UN Sustainable Livelihoods Programme (JSLP) is a joint programme currently being developed by the UN Country Team in Lao PDR. In the spirit of UN Reform and the objective of ‘delivering as one’, the JSLP will bring together the experience and expertise of several UN agencies and one international NGO under one coordinated initiative. JSLP publishes a newsletter in English every four months.

United Nations Inter-Agency Project on Human Trafficking in the Greater Mekong Sub-region (UNIAP)

UNIAP was established in June 2000 to facilitate a stronger and more coordinated response to human trafficking in the Greater Mekong Sub-region (Cambodia, China, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam). At a regional level, UNIAP brings together six governments, thirteen UN agencies and eight international NGOs. UNIAP in Lao PDR publishes a weekly news digest.
