The World Food Programme (WFP) in the Lao PDR opened today a new sub-office in the capital of Saravane province in the south of Laos. The opening ceremony was attended by WFP Representative in the Lao PDR, Ms Karin Manente, the Provincial Governor of Saravane, H.E. Mr Khamboun Duangpanya, and the head of the new WFP sub-office, Ms Hyunjung Kim.
