Vientiane, 11 October 2010 - It is with great sadness that all of us at the United Nations in Lao PDR, especially the United National Development Programme and the United Nations Environment Programme learnt of the death of Linda over this past weekend.  Her death is a tragedy and loss to us all, but especially to those who had the bounty to work closely with Linda.  She served tirelessly, with a genuine commitment to development.
